'Oiso', from The Series 'Fifty-three Stations of the Tokaido'
This miniature woodblock depicts the 8th station, and #9 in series, of an isolated village of rice fields in a downpour of rain. The series was first produced in 1833.  This miniature print dates to c1930-40 for the booming tourist trade.  This print measures 3.5" x 5.25", and the simple wood frame measures 6.25" x 8".   It is in fine condition.           P3713        $45.00
