'Moonlit Night at Miyanokoshi', #36 from Series 'Sixty-nine Stations of the Kiso Highway'
This beautiful Hiroshige print depicts travelers on a walking bridge at Miyanokoshi Station along the Kiso Road.  This series contains 71 prints in all, and was executed in collaboration with Keisai Eisen (1790-1848).  Hiroshige completed 47 of the 71, including this one, Eisen the rest.  The series dates to c1838.  This later edition dates to c1950.  The print measures 9.5" x 14.5" on a green mat, and the frame measures 13" x 20.5", in a silver tone frame.  This print is in fine condition.
