This very handsome original woodblock depicts Kiyomizu Temple in Kyoto on a rainy day. It is colored in black and white shades, with touches of color. There are visitors with umbrellas, which stand out against the shaded black and white in vibrant colors. The artist seal and title seal on the lower left of the image and margin. It bears the Uchida watermark on the lower right margin. This original lifetime woodblock print, which is dai-oban in size is in excellent condition.
