'Chuzenji, Utagahama'
This beautiful snow scene depicts a view of the torii (gateway) at Utagahama Beach. It is a lovely, welcoming design with snow falling, exhibiting rich color and fine bokashi shading throughout. This print was produced c1930 by Watanabe Publishers. Hasui produced a number of excellent images for the tourist trade, one prettier than the next. This edition is authenticated by Hasui's and Watanabe's seals in the lower right of the print. The print, matted on ivory, has a sight size of 6" x 4", and the simple mahogany-colored frame measures 13" x 9".  It is in excellent original condition.             P0311B          $325.00
