'Beauties at a Tea House'

This lovely classic woodblock print depicts three Beauties in a courtyard at a teahouse, standing under a lush pine tree.  It is a colorful print, and executed beautifully.  This print was introduced c1780s by publisher: Nishimuraya Yohachi.  This later edition dates to c1930s during the booming tourist trade. It measures 11.75" x 8", on its ivory mat folder, and matted in blue.  The frame measures 16.5" x 12.5", finished in a satin mat silver tone wood frame.  It is in fine condition.   P8447     $95.00
