Maiko(an apprentice Geiko performer in elaborate brocade kimono) playing a hand-drum in springtime, which is noted by the cherry blossoms in the background.  Sadanobu began his Maiko series in the 1930s.  This later edition was produced by the Uchida Publishers c1950, in the lifetime of the artist.  It bears the artist's seal on the left side, with the Uchida seal below.  This woodblock measures 11" by 8.25".  It's in excellent condition.
