Woodblock print, postcard format c1930. During the hot summer months, residents of Edo would often take to the Sumida River in pleasure boats to enjoy the cool air off the river. The Ryogoku Bridge was a center of evening entertainment. In this beautiful evening view, pedestrians along the bridge and boaters watch a spectacular fireworks display over the river. It is in excellent original condition. The woodblock measures 5.75" x 3.75".  It is in a black frame, 7.75" x 5.75".         P7538   $85.00
