'Inume Pass in Kai Province after Snow'

This small woodblock print after Hiroshige depicts a snow scene at the entrance to Inume Pass, which is busy with boats in the passage and birds in flight.  The sun is just starting to rise in the distance.  It is a classic ukiyo-e scene, and a popular series by Hiroshige, whose body of work was prolific in landscape scenes.  It was published in the 1920s for the tourist industry.  This print measures 5.25" x 3.25", and it is handsomely framed in a charcoaled silver tone frame measuring 9" x 7".  It is in fine condition with minimal toning.       P8734   $65.00
