'Sunset at Tokumochi'

This print depicts a temple on a snowy cliff, under the pines.  The sun is setting in the distance.  Takahashi Shotei produced a similar print of 'Moonrise at Tokumochi', c 1936.  This woodblock dates to the same period.  The artist cipher is unread, not a Shotei print, but clearly the same location at Tokumochi Shrine in Ota.  This original woodblock measures 5.25" x 3.5".  It dates to c1930.  It is in fine condition.    P5118
