This Japanese silk weave block print depicts a classic Japanese scene with a red-headed crane in a bamboo grove with the sun rising in the background.  The colors are especially vibrant in a blue and gold weave, with the bamboo leaves in a vivid blue hue, and the crane in white, with fine, fine detailing in his feather coat, and a rich golden sun.  This print weave measures 5" x 3.75".  It is handsomely double-matted and framed in a gold tone bamboo wood frame measuring 8.5" x 7.5".  It is in fine condition with minor wear on the frame.
