'Kimono Design Pattern with Apple Blossoms' c1849-1889
This handsome woodblock print depicts a beautiful Kimono design with apple blossoms and leaves. Kimono pattern designs are fairly scarce and certainly in this condition, which is nearly flawless. This woodblock was likely from a book of Kimono Designs from the mid to late 19th century. It was acquired from a Japanese gentleman's collection of pattern designs. It is matted in a simple ivory mat and measures 8.5" x 6.5". Its Japanese wood frame measures 12.5" x 10.5".     P7528             $125.00
