This woodblock print depicts young lovers walking in the snow.  It is a very romantic scene, with a melancholic mood. Harunobu emphasizes the intimacy of two lovers strolling in the snow, sharing an umbrella and love. He renders the couple's robes in paired black and white, characterized as 'crow and heron'.  This edition dates to circa 1930 when tourism in Japan was flourishing.  The print measures 5.5" x 3.75".  It is on a black mat and framed, 8" x 6" in black.
