This woodblock print depicts a snow scene showing Asakusa Temple, with a woman walking under a snow umbrella, and a man carrying a shovel.  The snow continues to fall and the trees are covered in heavy snow, in a rather ethereal presentation.  This print bears Shotei's seal.  It was published by Watanabe Publishers in the 1930s.  The print sight size is 15" x 6.5", with a creme mat.  The frame measures 18" x 10.5", an original Japanese black lacquer wood frame, with its original wood veneer backing, and an old frame shop label from Yokohama.  It is in fine condition with some generalized toning, with fading of color.  US insured shipping will be $35.00.  P85726   $595.00
