This lovely print depicts Kasuga Shrine in Nara on a rainy day, with visitors under a large umbrella. It is dated Showa 8 and first published by Watanabe in 1933. This woodblock is a lifetime print from the late 1930s. It bears Hasui's cipher in the lower left, and its title and date in the bottom margin. It measures 15.5" high by 10.5" wide. It is in very good condition with just mild toning and the standard pinholes in the left margin. P80532
