'Woodcutters in the Totomi Mountains', Series Title: Thirty Six Views of Mt. Fuji No. 34

An extraordinary Hokusai print from the Fuji series. A huge piece of lumber is propped diagonally as two men saw into the wood making fine cuts into lumber. The group oblivious to the fantastic view of Fuji, the mountain rising in the background. Very nice.  This print  measures 9" high by 12.5" long, including the margins.  It is in excellent condition, no tears, holes or stains.  It bears Hokusai's Kanji cipher and a series and title box in Kanji script.  It was originally published c1830 -1834.  This later edition dates to c1970.  P9018
