'Going to the Fair' d1910
This woodcut print by Helen Hyde entitled 'Going to the Fair', depicts a lively and enchanting scene of porters transporting families along their long journey to the fair, in a very festive scene. This print is numbered 76, and bears Hyde's seals and signature in pencil, along with the date 1910, and her clover seal. The print's sight size is 8.25" high by 19.5" long. The frame measures 17" high by 25" long. This print is in original condition, a beautiful print. Helen Hyde traveled to Europe and China, and in 1899, she arrived in Japan to begin training with master artist Tomonobu Kano.
